The advantage of being a family company is that you don’t have to follow the crowd. So when we saw that the world of organised touring was being turned into a numbers game by mass-tourism and multinational companies, we happily walked the other way.
Small Groups of 20
Our maximum group size is just 20, and even less for some tours in Asia & Africa. For us small groups make for a better holiday experience. They are more personal and you spend less time waiting and more time enjoying your holiday. Small groups are better for sustainability too! We get to visit smaller local businesses on our travels and stay in smaller centrally-located properties which are often impractical for large groups. There are many more benefits with small group sizes - click to see our Top-10 reasons why small is better.
Return International Flights
Unlike most tour companies, Bunnik include domestic and international flights from Australia in all of our small group tour packages. Plus our airfares have built-in flexibility so you’re able to extend your stay, fly in or out of other cities or upgrade your flights to business or first class. Anything is possible just ask our friendly team of consultants.
Spacious & Comfortable Coaches
Our groups are small but our vehicles are not! This means there are always plenty of empty seats for you to spread out in comfort. More space means better views too. When the coach isn't full you'll see less of people's heads to better enjoy the scenery and snap some great photos. We also like to mix it up a bit, so you'll enjoy a variety of unique local transport from a traditional Gulet (boat) in Turkey to a 1950's classic car in Cuba!
Unique Local Experiences
Small group touring is about being shown around by locals and really capturing the essence of the destination. It means seeing the famous attractions but also wandering off the tourist trail. So much more than just a coach tour, you'll experience the culture, meet the locals and savour the wonderful food. That's why we also include a range of experiences designed to capture the essence of the places we visit. Experiences like enjoying lunch with a local family in a small rural village in Sri Lanka, making Pizza in Sorrento, Italy, travelling by traditional style boats or exploring the deserts of India, Jordan and Morocco by camel!
Our well-balanced itineraries are designed specifically for Australian travellers. We put great effort into getting the right balance between organised touring and free time, after all it is a holiday! We include all the essential sights that others consider "optional extras", while providing plenty of time for you to explore & discover. Our sightseeing is carefully balanced so you don’t suffer ‘temple overload’! For example, in Egypt we contrast the wonderful antiquities with a relaxing visit to the clear blue waters of the Red Sea, while in Sri Lanka we take time out to stop by a small village, learn about their daily life and sample local delicacies. You get to truly experience a destination rather than ‘ticking off’ tourist sights as quickly as possible. The end result? A better holiday for you.
We offer genuine value for money and good old-fashioned family values and service. There’s a real difference between cheap and value. We’ll never be cheap by cutting corners. Rather we use our industry knowledge and experience to provide you the best possible value with no or very few optional extras. Our team has worked in every facet of the travel industry, including airlines, travel agencies, tour operations and hotels. This gives us a unique insight into how the industry works and how to get the very best value for money for our clients. We also keep our overheads low through the effective use of new technology and extensive staff training and development. This, combined with our innovative use of packaging to combine tours and flights, means we give you more travel for your dollar!
