Itinerary
Day 1 Bariloche
Bariloche is a year-round destination and one of the most scenic cities in the world. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Located on the coast of Lake Nahuel Huapi, you will love the spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2 Bariloche
Enjoy a morning tour of the small circuit surrounding Bariloche, including Campanario Hill where you have the option to take the chairlift for some spectacular views. You also travel to the Llao Llao Peninsula where you will visit the rustic San Eduardo Chapel. The afternoon is at leisure. [B]
Day 3 Bariloche - Lake Crossing - Peulla
A wonderful day trip by motorised catamaran across Lake Nahuel Huapi, then drive to Puerto Alegre and cruise across Frias Lake. From here you will travel over the Andes before descending to Peulla on the Chilean side of the mountains. [B,D]
Day 4 Peulla - Lake Crossing - Puerto Varas
Today you cross Todos Los Santos Lake, from where you will have spectacular views of Cerro Puntiagudo and Osorno Volcano. You then travel by road to the Petrohue Falls where green crystal waters cascade over black volcanic rocks, before continuing on to Puerto Varas. Puerto Varas is one of Chile's most charming villages, located on the shore of Lake Llanquihue. [B]
Day 5 Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt
Transfer to the Puerto Montt Airport for your onward journey. [B]
