Enjoy the Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria, the historical battlefields of El Alamein and the most beautiful Egyptian landscapes at Siwa Oasis. Located only 50km from the Libya border, the oasis is one of Egypt's most isolated settlements. The peaceful, modern town is set among palm trees, walled gardens and olive groves. Our touring of the region includes the ancient fortress town of Shali, the Mountain of the Dea and Temple of the Oracle. We also have the opportunity to go off-road to the Great Sand Sea where you can rest at the hot springs of Bir Wahid and enjoy dinner and an unforgettable evening under the stars.

Day 2 Alexandria - Siwa
After breakfast you depart Alexandria, driving west along the coast towards El Alamein, which has great historical importance. Its sands were the stage for one of the most decisive battles of the Second World War. During this battle more than 8,000 soldiers from the Allied troops, led by Montgomery, as well as many axis troops led by Rommel lost their lives. You will visit the Commonwealth War Cemetery and the interesting El Alamein Military Museum with its many paintings and five main halls representing the countries that participated in the battle. Later continue to Siwa. [B,D]
Day 3 Siwa
Tour the old Siwan village of Shali; the area is famous for its dates and olives, and is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Egypt. Olive oil is still made in the area. Overnight Siwa. [B,D]
Day 4 Siwa
After breakfast, visit the Mountain of the Dead, Alexander the Great’s
Day 5 Siwa -
On the way to Cairo today you visit the seaside resort town of Marsa Matrouh. On arrival in Cairo you will be transferred to your hotel. [B]
