Dubai is a modern, man-made mega city. Everything is built on the largest scale possible, it is home to the world's tallest building and the world's biggest indoor ski dome, shopping mall and artificial island development, the famous Palm. This place has to be seen to be believed.

That said, Dubai also has a more traditional side with its famed gold souq and historic development on the old Dubai Creek. Dubai is split into two distinct tourist regions, the first being the shoppers' paradise of Dubai City and the second the more relaxing Jumeirah Beach.

Itinerary

Day 1  Arrive Dubai
Welcome to the United Arab Emirates! On arrival you will be met and assisted by our local representative, and then transferred to your hotel.  The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2  Dubai
The United Arab Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing tourist destinations, has all the right ingredients for an unforgettable holiday, sun, sand, sea, sports and unbeatable shopping.  Enjoy a full day at leisure exploring this intriguing city. [B]

Day 3  Dubai
Today enjoy a merchant's tour of Dubai, featuring both the historic and ultra-modern side of this fascinating metropolis.  You will be guided to the magnificent Jumeirah mosque; past modern palaces sprawled along the coast.  In Bastakia stop for a while to admire the old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants. Close by, stands the 150-year old Al Fahidi Fort. Here, the Dubai Museum records the city’s past as an important pearl diving and trading centre.  We continue our journey by Abra - local water taxi.  As we cross the Creek we see the modern metropolis with its splendid architecture dwarfing the bustling alleys of our next destination, the gold and spice souks. Day 4  Depart Dubai
Transfer to the airport for your next flight. [B]
