Our Burma tour starts in Yangon, known locally as Rangoon, where we enjoy a group welcome dinner at the famous Karaweik Hall complete with a traditional show. The next stop on our tour of Burma is magical Bagan built on the plains of the Ayeyarwaddy River. The area here is dotted with thousands of 800-year-old temple ruins. Our touring of this area includes several of the most important pagodas and an opportunity to watch the sunset over this mystical landscape.

Cruise to Mandalay
The next highlight on our Burma tour is a two night cruise on the Irrawaddy Princess to Mandalay. While we are cruising sit back, relax and watch rural life as we pass by. When we arrive in historic Mandalay we take a tour of the city, which is considered the cultural capital of Burma.

Explore the Pindaya Caves
We continue our Burma tour in Pindaya, where we visit the Pindaya Caves, these are located on a beautiful ridge overlooking the lake. These amazing caves contain more than 8,000 Buddha images. From here we enjoy two days sightseeing on Inle Lake, where we’ll cruise among stunning floating gardens and colourful floating markets.
