  • Spend four nights in colourful Havana. Founded by the Spanish in 1514 and for a long time a centre of trade between Europe and the New World, Havana has a long and complex history that includes the slave trade, pirate raids and the swinging nightlife of the 1950s. We ride in a horse-drawn carriage along the lively Malecon, explore old Havana and return to the hotel in classic American cars! 
  • Stay two nights in the coastal city of Santiago de Cuba where Castro and Che Guevara started their revolution. Our tour includes the colonial heart of the city and the small island of Granma located in the middle of the bay 
  • Enjoy a beautiful scenic drive as we travel along the coast to Baracoa via the 1,200m-high Gran Piedra and past the infamous Guantanamo Bay 
  • Tour the isolated colonial town of Baracoa, where Columbus landed in 1511. We also visit the nearby Yumuro Indian Village and have lunch along the beautiful Tao River 
  • Visit the revolutionary town of Bayamo. It was here in 1868 that the local people, led by de Cespedes, revolted against the Spanish and freed all the slaves. Then, rather than hand the town over to the attacking Spanish, in 1869 they burnt it to the ground 
  • Stay overnight in the charming city of Camaguey which is famous for its tinijas, large terracotta bottles used for storing water, oil and grain. We tour the old city by rickshaw 
  • Enjoy a tour of the World Heritage-listed Trinidad which was founded in 1514 and features beautiful colonial-era buildings 
  • Travel through the scenic Escambray Mountains then enjoy a refreshing swim at the El Nicho waterfalls 
  • Visit the Mausoleum of Che Guevara in Santa Clara 
  • Enjoy a full-day tour of the western province of Pinar del Rio, home of the Cuban cigar and a unique landscape of mountains, rocks and underground rivers 
  • Spend two nights in Mexico City, one at the start and one at the end of your tour, with the option to extend your stay
