Machan Wildlife Resort, Chitwan National Park
Machan Wildlife Resort is located on the eastern edge of the Royal Chitwan Park. The accommodation at the resort is timber-framed bungalows that have a private bathroom and toilet, the main building houses the resorts restaurant and bar. When the resort was built, no clearing was allowed, therefore the buildings have been designed and constructed around the trees. A stream flowing between the bungalows was widened when the resort was first built to provide a natural swimming pool, the only one inside the national park.
