Day 1 Depart Australia

Day 2 Arrive in Ljubljana
Welcome to Slovenia. On our arrival we will be met and transferred to our hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure to stroll the streets and soak up the relaxed atmosphere and small-town friendliness.

Day 3 Ljubljana - Koper
An exciting day as we transfer to Koper where we board our cruise ship, our home for the next 7 nights. [B,D]

Day 4 Plitvice Lakes
We arrive in Zadar early this morning where there will be optional tours including the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. With its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly-wooded hills, it’s a tranquil setting and nature at its best, and  Optional tour to Zadar, including the ruins of the Roman Forum. [B,L,D]

Day 5 Ploce
Today we arrive in the seaside town of Ploce where you are free to explore on your own or take an optional tour of Mostar, a famous old city in Bosnia Herzegovina. In the afternoon arrive in Korcula, birth place of Marco Polo. [B,L,D]

Day 6 Kotor
An amazing day as we sail in The Bay of Kotor, the largest European fjord outside of Norway. There is also time for you to explore this World Heritage-listed town on your own or take an optional tour to the former capital city of Cetinje or Montenegro's Grand Tour of the Riviera. [B,L,D]

Day 7 Durres
Today we sail in to the port of Durres in Albania. Here you are free to disembark and explore on your own or take an optional tour of the Albanian capital Tirana. [B,L,D]

Day 8 Dubrovnik
Today is a real highlight as we sail in to historic Dubrovnik. With its ancient city walls and medieval architecture you will feel like you have stepped back in time.  Optional tour of this wonderful city include Rectors Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Palace. [B,L,D]

Day 9 Split
This morning we arrive in the historic city of Split, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. This afternoon there is an option to visit Trogir where arts scholars gather to study and paint. [B,L,D]

Day 10 Koper - Venice
We disembark our ship this morning and transfer to the romantic city of Venice. Enjoy time to explore on your own before this evening’s group dinner. [B,D]

Day 11 Venice
Have your cameras ready today as we start with a walking tour in St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace. View the Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs before continuing on for a visit to a glass blowing factory and view traditional Venetian glass blowing.  Rest of the day is at leisure to explore Venice on your own and possibly take an optional Gondola Ride.  [B]

Day 12 Venice - Florence
Today we stop at Pisa to view its famous leaning tower, the Baptistery and the Duomo, before our final stop, Florence. Lunch today is served at a local Tuscan farm before we continue to Florence. [B,D]

Day 13 Florence
We explore the picturesque city of Florence with a tour including the Academia of Fine Arts, home to Michelangelo’s David, its splendid Duomo and the open-air art museum of Signoria Square. [B]

Day 14 Rome
Today we leave Florence and drive to Rome through the stunning panorama of Tuscany, Umbria before stopping at the medieval city of Assisi, famous for its 13th Century Basilica of Saint Francis and Giotto frescoes. [B,D]

Day 15 Rome
A fantastic day as we start our sightseeing of Rome at the Vatican.
We visit its breathtaking museum and Sistine Chapel as well as look out from the top of the building where we are rewarded with amazing views of the city. Continue to the famous Colosseum, ancient Palatine Hill overlooking the Circus Maximus and the Imperial Palace and Roman Forum. [B,L]

Day 16 Rome
A full day free in Rome to explore this amazing city at leisure, possibly relax in a sidewalk cafe or take an optional tour to Pompei.  Enjoy an Farewell Dinner this evening at a local restaurant. [B,D]

Day 17 Depart Rome
Today we begin our journey home. [B]
