- Afternoon visit to the famous Batu Caves. Believed to be over 400 million years old, the main cave features 100 metre high vaulted ceilings. The Batu Caves are an important religious site for Hindus with many thousands coming here to pray and give thanks at the shrines contained within the caves
- Experience nature at its finest in the wonderful Taman Negara rainforest. Our two-night stay includes a presentation on the unique ecosystems of this 130-million-year-old rainforest, night and day time jungle walks and a canopy walk high above the forest floor. Undisturbed for millennia, Taman Negara is home to a variety of unique flora and fauna, including rare mammals such as the Indochina tiger, the Sumatran rhinoceros and the Asian elephant
- Take a boat tour of Lata Berkoh and its spectacular cascades. Submerge yourself in the clear waters of the deep rock pools below the cascades and breathe in the peace while lying back on the riverbank
- Sample the local brew at a tea plantation in the Cameron Highlands. The plantation was founded during the colonial era when British planters realised the potential of the area’s fertile mountain slopes for growing tea, then a prized commodity
- Visit a village of the Orang Asli people, literally meaning original or first people, to learn about their unique language and culture
- See some of the most spectacular butterfly specimens in Malaysia at the Cameron Highlands Butterfly Farm, home to the world-renowned Raja Brooke butterfly
- Make a stop at the Ubudiah Mosque and Royal Museum in Kuala Kangsar. The mosque took more than six years to build and can hold up to 2,300 worshippers. The Royal Museum houses many artefacts from Sultan Ismail’s life including furniture, silverware and photographs
- Spend two nights in Penang, one of the most famous islands in Asia, and widely known as the Pearl of the Orient. Its natural beauty and exotic heritage have been attracting curious visitors for centuries
- Enjoy an afternoon tour of George Town. Under British control since the 1780s, the Island of Penang became independent in 1957
- Spend three nights on the idyllic island of Langkawi, including a full-day island tour and a day at leisure to relax by the pool or catch up on last-minute shopping
