Egypt Feedback from our Clients

Following the recent political revolution in Egypt we have been overwhelmed with the responses received from clients who travelled to Egypt in March.
Thank you to everyone who sent in feedback, here is just a selection of their comments...

"If ever there was a time to visit Egypt, this is it. Perfect weather, few tourists and such a welcoming Egyptians. The locals are so proud of the changes taking place and are so exited to see tourists back in Egypt. It truly is the perfect time to visit Egypt."

"
Since arriving in Cairo we have found the Egyptian people to be very hospitable and welcoming. At no time did we feel unsafe. In fact the people wave and welcome us warmly. We were fortunate to travel at this time as we have been able to see the sights with no large crowds. The staff of Bunnik Tours are very helpful and put our welfare first. We look forward to the rest of the trip."

"I am currently touring in Egypt and am so happy that I decided not to cancel because of the problems that had occurred in Egypt. The Egyptian people have been very welcoming and are so happy to see the tourists. The atmosphere here is “full of happiness” and everyone is looking forward to the future. I feel very privileged to be travelling in Egypt at this time and feel also very safe and secure. I encourage everyone to come and visit Egypt not to hesitate. You will love it!"

"We had booked the tour well before the revolution started and when it did we thought we would have to cancel. When Mubarak stood down we thought everything would be ok until the Libyan uprising started. We contacted Dennis Bunnik who assured us that the Libyan conflict was over 500km from Alexandria (where we would be) and that the Egyptians were now keen to welcome us to their country. So we went. Well, we are so glad we did. We have experienced not a hint of insecurity. On the contrary, we have been welcomed by a pleasant, cheerful and helpful population. We would highly recommend to anyone contemplating an Egyptian Holiday that they visit Egypt now and seek out the Bunnik Tour to guide them on their way."

"Having read the Lonely Planet Guidebook I thought I knew what to expect, but I was not prepared for the warmth and hospitality of the Egyptian people. They are genuinely happy to see travellers and share their country and culture. I feel safer and more comfortable here than I did in India. It’s an exciting time to be in Egypt, and I feel very fortunate to be here now. The tombs and monuments are wonderful, but it is the friendliness and enthusiasm of the Egyptian people gives the country it’s spirit. I wish them all the best as they begin the next chapter in their history book."

"So glad we looked past the travel warnings and came to wonderful Egypt, not just to experience the ancient history of this amazing and friendly country, but also to be present as history is being made. We feel very safe in Cairo; we feel privileged; we feel the joy of the people; we feel their hope for a free and democratic future. And they love us Aussies."

"Bunnik Tours were very conscious of our initial concerns but those concerns were put to rest before we ever left home. Since our arrival were witnessed no unrest at all. There are very few tourists so all attractions are quite – its most unusual for this time of year. The locals depend on tourism so they are suffering. They have been very happy to see the tourist returning. When travelling on the Bunniks bus they all wave and their smiles stretch from ear to ear. It’s a great time to visit Egypt, so do yourself a favour and book a tour with Bunniks and be part of the history making process in this wonderful country."
