Client Feedback for Moscow to Prague

“Well we are two highly satisfied customers and as everyone was saying at our farewell dinner, our group was very compatible and supportive of each other. We were similar ages and were all up for a bit of an adventure. This was hugely facilitated by Rita’s organisational skills and willingness to introduce various things into our longer bus rides. She never flapped and, if we had to adjust plans, it all seemed to happen to everyone’s satisfaction. And that is no small thing when there are 21 people with you.

Highlights were; all the guides and bus drivers, the Hermitage, Peterhof, and ‘Giselle’ (at the Hermitage) in St Petersburg, watching a ceremony for final year school children in the town square at Novgorod, the market, restaurants and the open-air theatre where the human chain started in 1989 in Tallinn, the Museum of Occupation in Riga, a peach daquiri at the skybar at the Revel Hotel, our hotel, St Vitus’s cathedral and all the lovely buildings in Prague and all the fabulous places we stopped for coffee, lunch breaks and dinner and many more.

The only minor problem was I got a throat infection – I had to get antibiotics in Ireland as it wouldn’t go away. Not even the air in the salt mines would fix it!

We are really glad we did your tour as we got so much in the way of context. These will be fabulous memories. All the best and thanks for your part.”

Margaret & Ron Mellor

“We would like to say how much we enjoyed our Eastern Europe trip. Everything went to plan with lots of extras thrown in for good measure. Our guides were excellent and their local knowledge is to be applauded. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our accommodation was well placed with everything of interest generally within easy walking distance and their quality level better than expected.”

Phil & Lorraine Ratcliffe

“My husband & I have returned from our most enjoyable trip to Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland & Czech Republic. All went according to plan and the weather was kind, only one short showery day, not too cold. Each day the countryside began to change colour with the onset of autumn. The hotels were excellent & well appointed to all the sights of the cities. Our group of 23 was friendly. The tour guide, Rita, spoke perfect English, and was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother for her.”

Leonie & Kevin Mitchell

“We had a wonderful time and loved Rita our guide as she was always ready to help out with any problems/extra information that was needed etc. We were really impressed with the architecture in Russia and even though the people appeared to be austere at times were welcoming and proud to show off their country. The Baltic states were impressive with their ‘Old Towns’ and we would have loved to spend a little more time wandering through them.Perhaps an extra day in the middle of the tour for a rest day would satisfy this. We did allow an extra day to look around Prague and perhaps this could also be added to the actual tour as Prague is pretty impressive.”

Gayle Sweeney

“The tour itself was fantastic. Our tour guide Rita had the necessary mix of information, friendliness, knowledge of each country, language and the systems which made life so easy for us all in countries which could have presented difficulties… We have travelled with other tour organisations and feel that travelling with Bunnik has given us the best possible opportunity to enjoy the countries we visited.”

Pat & Ron Ritter

“Our Latvian guide Rita and our Lithuanian coach driver Vigi were absolutely wonderful – couldn’t fault them. As it was only a small tour group of 16 we basically had a whole seat each on the coach and I loved the fact that they were all Australians.”

Zora Nizich

“The tour was every bit as good as I had hoped. What an interesting part of the world. Rita was a wonderful tour leader; friendly, helpful, informative, well organized, I could go on with many more accolades.”
