Our Africa adventure begins...
Our Africa tour starts in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, which is framed by the Khomas Highlands Mountains. Its here we board the exclusively chartered Desert Express. The train has a classy modern interior and all the comfortable cabins have private facilities and panoramic windows so you can enjoy the view as we travel.

Experience the vast Namib Desert
We travel south as our Africa tour takes us to Namibia’s impressive Fish River Canyon, one of the largest canyons on earth. From here we leave the train for a couple of days as we travel by open vehicle into the vast landscape of the Namib Desert. This is an amazing experience and when we reach Sossusvlei we’ll climb the gigantic dunes and watch as the sun sets over the desert.

Enjoy Africa's wildlife
As our Africa tour continues we travel through the scenic Naukluft National Park until we reach Walvis Bay where we’ll see flocks of flamingos and pelicans at the lagoon. Our next stop is the Matterhorn of Namibia, the Spitzkoppe, where we stop to enjoy a range of unique rock art created by the San Bush people. As our train journey comes to an end we disembark and head to our safari lodge in the Etosha National Park. Home for the next three nights here we’ll enjoy amazing game drives and get to see some of Africa’s most colourful wildlife.
