Treasures of the Ancient World Tour

Treasures of the Ancient World photo

Discover the unique mix of culture and history that both Turkey and Egypt have to offer: each has an array of ancient sites and amazing treasures that come together to make this a truly wonderful tour.

Turkish delights
Starting in Istanbul our Turkey tour explores this fascinating city. We’ll visit the Topkapi Palace, the unique Blue Mosque, the famous Hippodrome and the magnificent Basilica of St Sophia. Other Turkish highlights include Troy where we'll visit the Trojan horse and Ephesus, the largest ancient city ever uncovered.

Natural wonders
Our Turkey tour continues onto Pamukkale. Over the years nature's hot springs have created many wonderful pools in the limestone cliff. We then travel on to Cappadocia where we’ll explore the surreal lunar like landscape. It’s full of fairy chimneys, strange rock formations that have formed naturally after hundreds of years of erosion.

Exciting Egypt
From here our tour continues to Egypt. Beginning our Egypt tour in Cairo, we start at the Great Pyramids of Giza and the iconic Sphinx. Here in Egypt we’ll also take a Nile cruise stopping to enjoy many highlights along the way including the beautiful temples of Karnak and Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel.
