- A shore excursion to the Fengdu Ghost City, so called because of the legend that two officials, Yin and Wang (the combination of their names mean Ghost King), became Taoists here and eventually immortals, 1,700 years ago
- Shore excursion to either the Shennong Stream or the Lesser Three Gorges. The 60km-long Shennong Stream runs off the Yangtze and is known for its breathtaking scenery. It features in many ancient Chinese stories. The Lesser Three Gorges offer fantastic views as you pass through three separate valleys. Decision on which option is taken is made by the cruise company based on local conditions at the time
- Visit the massive Three Gorges Dam, the biggest engineering project in China since the Great Wall and designed to stop the annual flooding of the Yangtze
- Three nights in bustling Shanghai, one of the world’s most exciting cities. Our touring includes the historic Bund and busy Nanjing Road shopping area
