The Kandy Festival is held annually in July and this year will be escorted by Frank Bunnik. This festival is awash with colour and lively dances and is thought to date back to the 3rd century BC, celebrating when the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha was brought back to Sri Lanka from India.

Frank's love for Sri Lanka grew in the aftermath of the Boxing Day tsunami in 2004, when he led a Bunnik Tours organised aid mission. Since then Frank has returned many times to work with people in need. On this tour Frank will introduce you to a side of Sri Lankan daily life and culture rarely seen by other tourists.
