FROM KIGALI TO NYUNGWE

Discover the history of Rwanda in the capital of Kigali, then continue the journey to Nyungwe Forest National Park, most likely the best preserved montane rainforest in Central Africa. Here you’ll trek the forest in search of the Angola colobus monkeys and exotic birdlife, before touring a nearby tea plantation.

In the Volcanoes National Park, you’ll get up close and personal with a family of rare mountain gorillas. Spend an incredible hour observing these magnificent creatures in their daily life – feeding, playing, resting and raising their young. You’ll also visit an ex-poacher’s village that is now an award-winning conservation initiative, visit the local market and explore the local area.
