Take an incredible rainforest walking tour, allowing you to witness its majestic beauty close-up. Relax and enjoy the falls from another viewpoint aboard your sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Then spend a day getting up close and personal with lions at Masuwe Estate, the African Lion Rehabilitation Program.

Day 1. Victoria Falls

Welcome to Victoria Falls! On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a sunset cruise with sundowners along the Zambezi River this evening.

Day 2. Victoria Falls

Explore Victoria Falls on foot this morning. Set in the rainforest, Victoria Falls is one of the world’s three biggest waterfalls. Walk through the lush vegetation, stopping at each of the 16 viewpoints. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure before experiencing a traditional boma dinner this evening. [B,D]

Day 3. Victoria Falls - Chobe

Travel to Chobe today, known for having the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa. On arrival, you will be advised about the sightseeing options available to you during your stay. Late this afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park in search of elephants, leopards, lions and buffaloes. [B,L,D]

Day 4. Chobe National Park

Early this morning venture into the park in open vehicles on a game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast and time to relax at leisure. Take another game drive later this afternoon to search for animals as the park is bathed in a beautiful light from the setting sun. Return to the lodge for dinner. [B,L,D]

Day 5. Chobe - Zambezi Queen

Enjoy a final early morning game drive before breakfast, prior to your transfer across the border to embark on the Zambezi Queen. Arrive in time for welcome drinks and lunch, then sit back, relax and enjoy the world-class sophistication on board. [B,L,D]

Day 6. Zambezi Queen

Over the next two days on board the Zambezi Queen, you have the option to choose your preferred activities, including a visit to a local village, fishing or staying on board to enjoy the view from the upper deck. It’s all up to you! Tonight, enjoy a traditional African dinner. [B,L,D]

Day 7. Zambezi Queen

This morning you disembark the Zambezi Queen and transfer to Kasane Airport for your onward journey. [B]

We have a duty of care to all tour participants and the tour guides, so we do impose a firm policy on the level of fitness required by all our clients to attempt to ensure your safety and the safety of other travellers on our tours.

We do reserve the right to refuse bookings if we feel that the requirements of the tour are too demanding.

2. Walk up multiple flights of stairs and short, steep hills
3. Stand for 20 minutes without needing to sit down, often in hot/humid climates
4. Carry their own luggage

Chobe Safari Lodge, Chobe

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. On its doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. The restaurant offers a la carte lunch and scrumptious buffet dinners and there are two cocktail bars to choose from, one offering stunning sunset views and the other overlooking the flood plains.

Chobe Bush Lodge, Chobe

Chobe Bush Lodge is situated in Kasane on the border of Chobe National Park and within 150m from the Chobe River. Guestrooms feature a modern bush-style design and the hotel has a restaurant and two bars to enjoy a sundowner in.

Zambezi Queen

The Zambezi Queen offers 14 tastefully furnished Suites located on the lower and middle decks. All suites feature magnificent views from floor to ceiling windows. An outer deck allows you to step outside to experience the African breeze. Each private space was designed with the African summer in mind and clever use of shutters and air conditioning ensures a cool experience even during times of the year when the temperatures on the Chobe soar. Suites can be configured with either double or two single beds.

    • A visa for Zimbabwe needs to be purchased upon arrival in Victoria Falls for approx $30pp US.
    • A Botswana Tourism Development Levy of $30pp US is payable upon arrival. Payments are made at ports of entry through electronic payment machines that accept both US dollars and credit cards.
  • Non-Australian passport holders
    • Please check with your travel agent on visa requirements.
