Description

Immerse yourself in the incredible history of Turkey and Egypt. Discover the ancient civilisations and priceless treasures of bygone eras, indulge your senses in colourful market bazaars, uncover the enchanting ‘fairy chimneys’ of Cappadocia and explore the beautiful contrasting landscapes of these two unique countries.

Turkish delights

Our tour of Turkey starts in Istanbul, where we explore this fascinating city. Other highlights include Troy, where we'll visit the Trojan horse, and Ephesus, the largest ancient city ever uncovered.

Here we get a taste for Turkish cuisine as we learn treasured recipes at a cooking class with a local family.

Exciting Egypt

From here our tour continues to Egypt. Beginning our tour of Egypt in Giza, we see the Great Pyramids and the iconic Sphinx. We’ll also take a Nile cruise, enjoying highlights along the way such as the temples of Karnak and Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, and Abu Simbel.

Please note: The Blue Mosque is currently undergoing renovations and therefore will be partly covered in scaffolding.
Please note: Due to local laws and regulations, the only mode of transport available to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu is by horse and carriage. You are welcome to explore Edfu independently or stay on board the cruise to enjoy the ship’s facilities if you would prefer.
