Egypt in Depth Fascinating history 5

Egypt in Depth The Pyramids 5

Egypt in Depth Stunning antiquities, fantastic experience 5
Nothing can prepare you for the sheer scale and magnificence of the temples, tombs and other antiquities which is Egypt’s heritage. Only the two of us on this trip so we were able to optimise the timing of the various aspects of our itinerary with the assistance of our excellent local guides - Hussein, our highly professional and knowledgeable guide in Upper Egypt, and Hussan our passionate and expert archeologist guide in Lower Egypt. Both were great company who ensured we had an equally wonderful cultural experience as we did an egyptology experience. We availed ourselves of most of the optional tours, including the amazing hot air balloon ride over Luxor at dawn, which enriched our experience. Seamless, well-executed organisation, high standard of accommodation and impeccable, responsive service including our “in country” rep Saeed. The Egyptian people are warm and friendly, and we felt completely safe at all times. Overall a fantastic experience. Karen Crawshaw - November 2017
Egypt in Depth I loved the incredible history and friendly people of Egypt 4
There are so many highlights when you come from such a young country as Australia. Egypt has 7000 years of history and it has been preserved for all to see - the pyramids of Giza and surrounding pyramids, the Valley of the Kings and Luxor and Karnak Temples and Abu Simbel. My fondest memories are the people - the smiles, the hellos and the welcome handshakes - and my first balloon ride - incredible. Kathleen Atherton - March 2017
Egypt in Depth Everthing, we had the best time! 5
Highlights include seeing the pyramids, the Cairo museum, enjoying both our guides' company as well as our travelling companion Sandra (our new friend). The Nile cruise, all the temples, mummies, all the history, Alexandria and everything that Egypt has to offer. In short, one of my bucket list dreams has been fulfilled. Our guides Ibrahim Selim and Hussein Ahmad were fantastic they were both very knowledgeable in all areas nothing was to much trouble and they both went out of their way to make our holiday the best ever! Australians and all travelers need to be aware that Egypt is a safe and amazing place to visit. Before we left everyone kept questioning our holiday choice and even when we arrived back expected us to be very disappointed. Nothing could be further from the truth Bunnik as well as other travel agencies need to put out the word that now is the time to visit before the crowds eventually come back. The country needs the tourism now. Ann Oakley - October 2016
Egypt in Depth Loved the amount of ancient sites we visited 5
It was great being with a small group - we only had 4 people in ours -so we got to know each other well. The guides were very knowledgeable and were proud of their country. Karen Jensen - March 2016
Egypt in Depth Worry free, well organised, Egyptian people so gracious and polite! 5
Egypt was also the safest place we have travelled to and we travel 4-5 trips per year. A lot of rubbish about security-didn't feel threatened at all and the people went out of their way to be hospitable to us. The pickup arrangements for each city were superb especially Mohommed (different from tour guide), group of 5 people made life so easy and our guide got us to sites early so we hardly saw another tourist. Now is the time to go to Egypt-quiet, temples to yourself and they desperately need our support! Ready to go back to Egypt right now especially for their superb hibiscus juice and mint and lemon drink-superb! Great trip. Pamela Ward - April 2016
Egypt in Depth Enthusiasm of tour guide exceptional 4
Local staff excellent. Itinerary well balanced and comprehensive. Ron Cullen - November 2015
Egypt in Depth Loved the wonderful historical sites of Egypt 4
Our fondest memories include the ancient tombs and pyramids and the very enjoyable Nile cruise. Our tour director, Eman was knowledgeable and generally did a good job. Trevor Taylor - November 2015
Egypt in Depth Oh So Good Bunnik! 5
It is a very big thankyou "Bunnik"! Since my Wife Roslyn and I met in 1972, it has been our dream to stand before the "Great Pyramid" visit "Luxor" and walk the "Valley Of The KIngs,"visit "Tutankhamen's Tomb" Cruise the "Nile", visit "Abul Simbal" and embrace the history of"Ancient Egypt". This we have done in an abundance, thanks to you and our much respected and admired Egyptologist Eman Bahaa who opened our eyes with her love of Egypt and her wealth of knowledge. Her answers to our questions of Ancient Egypt were profound and generous with colour and sincerity, and will stay with us forever. A day to be treasured with her was an optional "Nubian Villiage Tour" by Boat, Camel and walking the streets with her and enjoying the embracing warmth of the Nubian people. An exceptional day to relive time and again. We have returned home with great fondness of the Egyptian people with their warmth and hospitality. Our Accommodation was superb, with the "Movenpick" at Aswan the standout. The Safety Aspect of this Tour was paramount to us travellers and was professionally delivered. Well done. We wholeheartedly recommend this "Egypt in Depth" tour with Bunnik to anyone desiring small group travel. Lance Percey - November 2015
Egypt in Depth Egypt, what's not to love! Great organisation. 5
Amazing Egypt! Doing the tour with amazing Egyptologists whose knowledge was boundless. Historically fascinating, so glad I went. Too many highlights to mention - tour went beyond my expectations. But if I had to pick one it would be seeing Tutankhamen and the Giza Pyramids for the first time!!! Nanette Kretschmer - November 2015
Egypt in Depth The Egyptian People were so welcoming and the sights amazing. 5
Egypt was everything I hoped it would be. Our guide was fantastic as he was knowledgeable, engaging and fun! Bunniks had everything organised for us and we just had to turn up and enjoy ourselves which we did! Our tour group of 5 got on so well it felt like family after a few days, and it was sad to part ways at the end. Diane Wise - November 2015
Egypt in Depth Unforgettable. 5
The Egypt in Depth tour for a traveller who has been enthralled by some of the world's great sights, some of the tombs on the West Bank of the Nile have exceeded Michaelangelo's work in the Sistine Chapel in magnificence, given the age of the structures. The temples on the East Bank in size and scope are better than the grandeur of Machu Picchu in Peru. The knowledge and passion of our guide, Eman, has greatly added to the total enjoyment of our trip. I was greatly impressed when she organised a cake to celebrate my birthday - a complete surprise. All in all, Bunniks and Eman have made this trip unforgettable. Geoff King - September 2015
Egypt in Depth Petra! 4
Highlights were seeing the carved out buildings of Petra and my first walk into a tomb in the Valley of the Kings. I was just blown away with the colours and scale of the inscriptions. Bevan Noble - September 2015
Egypt in Depth Balanced itinerary. Small group with exceptional guides and professional tour operators 4
Engaging with tour guides Ibrahim Ali Selim and George Magdy. Their presentation of extensive knowledge was educational but enjoyable too. The boat cruise on the Nile gave focus to the Egyptian life thousands of years ago and today too.! The brilliant library in Alexandria with its clever architectural concept matching the future resource needs into the future. Liz & Rolf Malmo - June 2015
Egypt in Depth Amazing Egypt! 5
I have just returned on Friday from Egypt, it was sensational! Have never felt so safe, the entire time was exhilarating, I am still on cloud nine about my trip, to be honest I want to go back!!! Thank you Bunnik Tours! Gloria Bye - May 2015
Egypt in Depth Loved the sites, Guides and Tour Operators willingness to please. 5
Fondest memories are of the friendly people, the Guides love for their country and its history. We couldn't rate all our guides highly enough. They were friendly, informative and would attend to the smallest of issues or requests to ensure that we had the best time possible. The highlights are many, including the Roman city of Jerash, Petra, the Pyramids of Giza, the Nile River and Temples of Luxor and Aswan as well as the crazy traffic in Cairo. I can't forget, after just arriving in Amman, the old man at the Citidal who asked me where I was from, then said welcome. There was also the treasures of Tut Ankh Amon (all that gold). Overall a fascinating and wonderful tour. [included Glimpse of Jordan Private Tour] Michael & Karen Berthold - April 2015
Egypt in Depth A small group and good itinerary 4
It was great to see all the main sights, as well as doing a Nile cruise. This was very relaxing. The highlight, apart form the Giza pyramids, was Luxor. The group I travelled with was great and we all got on very well together. Richard Mabbitt - February 2015
Egypt in Depth Safe and well-organised. Amazing sites! 5
Hotels were fabulous. Historic sites and museums were overwhelming, Our guide made it all so interesting and was a very nice person. The trip was well-organised in chaotic Egypt! Felt safe at all times. Anne Gerard - February 2015
Egypt in Depth Loved going back to Egypt, seeing it all again! 5
Second time around, Egypt was just as wonderful. Fondest memories were catching up with Bunnik friends again, especially our brilliant guide, Ibrahim Selim, and showing my son all that Egypt has to offer, plus seeing a few new things myself. We both loved it all and would love to go back again! Joanne Gehrke - January 2015
Egypt in Depth Thank you for a wonderful holiday 5
I thoroughly enjoyed the small tour experience (only 6) it certainly made our trip to Egypt very personable and enjoyable. The tour was extremely well organised and executed. It was great value for money, especially with the quality of the hotels we ended up staying in. Debra Scott - March 2012
Egypt in Depth Egypt was just fantastic 5
We felt that we got to see all that we expected, and more. We were able to spend a good amount of time at each place as there were not great crowds. Everything flowed, regardless of the amount of traffic, and we had compact days. At the end of each day we found that we were saying 'that was a great day'. Yvonne McKay - January 2014
