Bedouin-style desert camp
Nile River cruise

Discover the iconic wonders and mesmerising history of Egypt and Jordan. Marvel at ancient Roman cities, hallowed biblical landmarks and incredible feats of architectural engineering. Cruise the Nile and explore the amazing temples and tombs of Upper Egypt.

Be amazed by incredible Jordan

Our Middle East tour starts in Amman, the capital of Jordan. We visit the beautifully preserved Roman cities of Um Qais and Jerash. From Amman we head to the Dead Sea where we enjoy a dip in the buoyant, salty waters, before continuing to to Petra. Petra is a real highlight of this tour and one of the world’s greatest treasures with it's stunning temples carved into rock. We then enjoy a night under the stars in a Bedouin style dessert camp.

Explore Cairo and ancient Egyptian sites

Our Middle East tour continues in ancient Egypt where we visit all the must-see sights as well as enjoy a 3-night Nile cruise. Highlights of this part of the tour include; the Great Pyramids of Giza, the iconic Sphinx, the unique step pyramid of Sakkara, the Khan El Khalili bazaar, the world-famous Egyptian Museum, the impressive Valley of the Kings, the stunning temples of Abu Simbel and the riverside temples of Kom Ombo.

Please note: We are sure you will have a fantastic time in Jordan. Marion Bunnik has just finished travelling through Jordan on an inspection visit and has noticed that Jordan has had an enormous influx of tourists over the past couple of years. As a result of this, the infrastructure that is usually enjoyed by tourists in well developed countries can often be stretched and therefore, inconsistent. This may mean that there may be noticeable differences in standards, including vehicles, hotels and guides. Bunnik Tours always endeavours to provide the best touring experience possible and recommends that everyone who visits Jordan, do so with an open mind and flexibility.

Highlights of Egypt & Jordan Childhood dream fulfilled 5
My wife's childhood dream to visit Egypt and see the Pyramids. Only took 50 years for her to get there so it was quite an emotional experience. Doing Jordan as well was a bonus. Her expectations were well and truly met and our guides did a great job Kenneth A - July 2018
Highlights of Egypt & Jordan Sights & guides 5
The experiences of visiting amazing historical sites, in a small group with knowledgeable guides. Scott T - April 2018
Highlights of Egypt & Jordan Highlights of Egypt & Jordan 5
We have just returned from this fantastic tour to Jordan & Egypt. All aspects of the tour were well organised & we felt safe at all times the entire trip. Ziad our tour guide/driver in Jordan & Eman our Egyptologist/guide in Egypt were knowledgeable & passionate abour their countries. They went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable & enjoyable holiday. Although we travelled in the Egyptian summer the excursions were arranged for early in the day thus avoiding the heat & crowds. With a great group of travel companions there was so much history to be seen in both countries. In Jordan Petra was outstanding & floating in the Dead Sea was quite an experience. The highlights of Egypt would have to be the pyramids & Abu Simbel plus the hot air balloon trip over Luxor. Anne Weston - July 2018
