BYZANTINE CASTLES & OLIVE PIES

Welcome to Cyprus, an island rich in history and culture, and one of the oldest civilisations in the Mediterranean. We'll explore medieval Castles and fortresses dating back to the Byzantine era, travel to the spectacular Troodos
Mountains, and take a 4WD Jeep safari to discover the natural wonders of the Akamas Peninsula. Arrive into the capital of Greece, Athens. We’ll discover the diversity of the ancient and modern city, exploring the Acropolis, Parthenon, the Temple of Poseidon and the lively districts of Plaka, Monastiraki and Thisio to get a taste of the local atmosphere.

Magical Meteora

The incredible cliff-top monasteries of Meteora await. Also known as the ‘hanging rocks’ or ‘columns of the sky’, monks have been settled here since the 11th century. The cliffs are regarded as the perfect place to achieve absolute isolation and discover peace and harmony since early Christian times.

Ancient Corinth & The Peloponnese

From Meteora we travel south to scenic Nafpaktos on the Corinthian Gulf, stopping to explore the ruins in Delphi, considered by the ancient Greeks to be the centre of the world. Ride a scenic train through Vouraios Gorge and travel down to Nafplio visiting the ‘Cave of the Lakes’, famous in Greek Mythology. We’ll also discover Sparta, Mystras and Mycenae, all key places in Greek history.
