A stunning journey through Scandinavia, travelling from Stockholm to Copenhagen via Finland and northernmost Norway. Visit the Arctic Circle and discover some of the world’s most secluded townships. Experience the natural phenomenon of the ‘Midnight Sun’, ride the amazing Flåm Railway and travel through Norway’s spectacular fjords.

EXPLORE THE DESIGN CAPITALS OF HELSINKI & STOCKHOLM

Our tour starts in Stockholm, a beautiful city home to over 100 parks and museums and a great place to explore. Next we visit the fascinating city of Helsinki, with a mixture of glorious buildings in many different architectural styles.

LAND OF THE MIDNIGHT SUN

From Sweden we travel into Finland, where no tour would be complete without a visit to Santa - so be on your best behaviour! A real tour highlight is a trip to the city of Tromsø - the self-proclaimed 'Capital of the Arctic' - in the land of the Midnight Sun. During the summer the sun never sets - join our June departures to experience this phenomenon. Our journey continues south where we visit the scenic cities of Bergen and Flåm. Another tour highlight here is a cruise along the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Nærøyfjord. This fjord is one of exceptional natural beauty.

Our touring of Scandinavia ends in the wonderful city of Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Copenhagen is regarded by many to be the most cosmopolitan of all Europe's capital cities. We enjoy a tour of this interesting city, along with time to soak up its relaxed café culture. Our tour ends here and we bid farewell to the stunning scenery of Scandinavia.

Hassle free, interesting tours, well organised and excellent tour guides with personalities, esp the one from Stockholm - can't recall his name, and the lady from Oslo. Even cheese tasting and tour of the orchard, initially were 'questionable' - why, but turned out to be historical and really enjoyable, esp tempting to the taste buds. Martina was an excellent tour guide. The group responded very well to her sense of humour, patience and support. She displayed respect for the 4 countries we visited, her indepth knowledge and language skills were impressive. She took an interest in what we were looking for with respect to local cuisine and gave excellent information on where to eat out. Martina contributed enormously to the success of our trip. Gold Star to Bunniks re our final dinner at Host restaurant in Copenhagen...this was an excellent cuisine experience for us. Keep up this high standard! Trudie Bradley - May 2016

Lousie's great grandfather came from Jondahl in Norway. With the assistance from Tina, our guide, she was treated like royalty in that town which made it very special for us. Tina was 10 out of 10. Her knowledge and attitude to every detail was exceptional. John Pound - July 2016
Scandinavian Discovery The scenery, tour group and transportation were fabulous. 5
We had great cooperation and interaction with the tour group and the low number (15) made it all very easy. The scenery in Norway, particularly the Telemark High Plains was breathtaking. The tour guide was very conscientious and on the ball. Erik Bennett - July 2016
Scandinavian Discovery Scenery was amazing & our tour leader was brilliant. 5
Loved the alpine scenery! It was just amazing. The history of places & the myths & legends gave the gorgeous scenery a new depth, & brought the old buildings to life. I have so many great memories of this trip. I could do it again tomorrow & still come away with new insights. Tamsen Robertson - July 2016
Scandinavian Discovery Variety of countries, serenity of Finland, stunning scenery of Norway 5
The carefully designed itinerary made the beauty of the countryside in Finland and Norway after busy city tours in Stockholm and Helsinki much more appreciated. Our guide was fantastic with her tips for places to eat and what to see in the different cities. The peaceful fjords, magnificent waterfalls and beautiful meadow flowers in Norway were the highlights. Visiting the husky and reindeer farms and tasting fresh juices and cider were memorable experiences.( Not forgetting - the blue poppy in the Botanical gardens in Tromso!) Learning about the Sami people and their culture added another dimension to the trip. All the museums were fantastic! Deb Kingston - July 2016
Scandinavian Discovery We loved the differences in the countries, enhanced by a superb tour guide 5
Highlights were travelling in Lapland and being amongst the Sami people learning about their culture. Plus of course experiencing the Midnight Sun and being at the North Cape. This was so dramatically different to the wonderful cities that we also visited. Robert Cainer - June 2016

Scandinavian Discovery A wonderful experience of scenery, places and people. 5
There were many highlights but Norway was the pick with breathtaking scenery around every corner. The other thing I liked was the mix of experiences with various cultures and different forms of travel not just sitting on a bus day after day. As a senior, the pace of the tour was just right with suitable bits of free time and no 6 a.m. starts and late finishes to the days. The added bonus for our tour was that we all got on well together, no arguments and everyone was on time for each days activities. Col Barry - June 2016
Scandinavian Discovery Loved the convenience of travelling by diverse modes of transport 5
So many wonderful memories to treasure, but for me the day we spent in the Hardanger Fjiord visiting the cider apple farm, walking to the village to enjoy a special lunch prepared for us at the living museum and visiting the Latefoss waterfall. We visited this part of Norway in the early 60's, so all those lovely memories were relived, so sorry that my husband was not by my side. Clarisse Jennings - June 2016
Scandinavian Discovery Great itinerary with a very knowledgeable guide. 5
We covered four countries in 25 days. Each was similar on the surface but so very different when you learned more of its history, people and society. All locals spoke fluent English, were happy and everything was safe, no matter where you went. Brian Lynne - June 2016
Scandinavian Discovery Loved the range and depth of experiences, scenery and culture. 4
Highlights were interacting with the Sami people; experiencing 24 hours of daylight; listening to the Joik and other folk singing; driving and cruising the fjords, canals and lakes ; following the old post route in Norway; filling in the gaps of European history. Ulrike Tlozek - June 2016
Scandinavian Discovery Amazing culture and scenery - every day was a highlight. 5
We had a great group of travel companions, tour leader and all our drivers were good. The itinerary was excellent and all our accommodation was well located, particularly liked staying in the old jail in Helsinki. Quite a good balance of time organised and time to explore independently. In our opinion the side trip to Hammerfest was a day wasted and time could have been better spent. All in all we had a wonderful time, really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend highly recommend the Scandinavian Discovery. Cathy Davis - June 2016
Scandinavian Discovery Group size was perfect. 5
Highlight was having lunch in a small, out of the way museum after our tour of the cidery. We seemed to have the entire place to ourselves and it was in no way a "tourist" destination. Sun was shining and we enjoyed a delightful lunch on tables set up in the sunshine. Zan Errey - May 2016
Scandinavian Discovery The holiday flowed beautifully to fascinating places. 5

Scandinavian Discovery It was much better than I expected, just loved Scandinavia 4
I have so many fond memories, the drive to North Cape to see the Midnight Sun was quite overwhelming and to see the sun at midnight was something I will never forget. Our guide Tina was excellent, so much knowledge, so very caring and nothing was a bother to her, I'm sure it was her great guiding that helped make the tour so enjoyable. Mavis Collinson - June 2015
Scandinavian Discovery Our tour guide was the best I've ever encountered 5
Tina's knowledge of history, her interesting anecdotes and information about local identities, famous or infamous, were fascinating. Tina also took great care to meet our needs and was a wonderful 'mother hen.' Our two coach drivers were excellent and very capable of maneuvering seemingly impossible situations. Every day was a delight, stunning scenery, comfortable accommodation and variety of transport whether by coach, boat, plane or train. We were fortunate with the weather, especially for our trip to view the midnight sun without fog, cloud or rain. A most successful holiday! Robyn Dampney - June 2015

Scandinavian Discovery Norway has spectacular scenery 4
Wonderful scenery and enjoyed Husky Point Farm and the Reindeer farm. Group leader very helpful to point where she would advise on leisure afternoons and accompany us. She helped us use the public transport system which is a great way to get to see the cities and engage with local people. Group leader also a wealth of information and kept us all entertained. Good mix of nature, walking around cities, museums - very good museums on this tour - not too big and with interesting displays with some interactive content. Some churches and significant buildings, but not too many. Alison Creaser - June 2015
Scandinavian Discovery Everyone mixed so well couples & singles 4
Our guide Martina was excellent. She ensured we all knew what was happening & what time were meeting. Even in our leisure time she would offer to show us places if we wanted to go. Accommodation very good. Coaches & drivers very excellent. Well organized & would definitely travel with Bunnik Tours again. Sue Weate - June 2015

Scandinavian Discovery Everything was well organised and hassle-free!!! 4
We liked the scenery in Norway the best. Also, our guide, Tina Music really made things "happen" - she was excellent, entertaining and very helpful. Our two principal bus drivers - Juss in Denmark, Norway and Sweden and Kari in Norway and Finland - were excellent!!! Juss could perform "magic" with his driving skills; Kari's local knowledge was a real asset. Robert Franklin - July 2014
Scandinavian Discovery Spectacular scenery 5
Norway was just spectacular and it was so hard to put the camera away - even during the bus travel. Nord Capp was a highlight and seeing the midnight sun (and no night) for several days was an experience not to miss. So many beautiful cities and towns, Copenhagen; Tromso; Bergen; Helsinki; Stockholm and many, many more. Daily visits to fascinating places - the Vasa; the Little Mermaid; Viking Long ships; Funen village; Vigeland Sculpture park; a Stave church are just a few. A great holiday with a great bunch of travelling companions. Cathy & Neil Johnson - June 2014
