Description

The Skorpios cruise ships are built to sail the southern fjords of Chile and give you the opportunity to witness one of the most remote and untouched regions in the world. Discover the immense ice fields and glaciers of Chilean Patagonia on this 3 night cruise.

Itinerary 

Departs Puerto Natales every Tuesday and Friday from October to April 

Day 1 Depart Puerto Natales

Embarkation at the Puerto Natales terminal, enjoy a welcome drink and dinner on board. Cruise sails at 5.00pm from Puerto Natales navigating the Patagonian Channels, Kirke Narrowness, Channel Morla Vicuna and Seno Union. [D]

Day 2 Calvo Fjord

Arriving at Amalia Glacier at 8.00am, the ships sails closer to the Glacier for panoramic views. Continue navigating to El Brujo Glacier for a visit (weather permitting). At lunchtime set sail for Calvo Fjord and enjoy excursions by motorboat (weather permitting) to Fernando, Capitan Constantino and Alipio Glaciers. Cruise to Montanas Fjord this evening. [B,L,D]

Day 3 Montanas Fjord

Begin the day with a visit to the Montañas Fjord, where four glaciers sliding down from the Sarmiento Mountains to the sea will be seen. Then discover the Bernal Glacier on a short hike to its base. As you continue sailing through Montañas Fjord, you will be able to see the Herman and Zamudio glaciers from the ship. You’ll arrive at White angostura in the evening, and disembark for an excursion, sailing among island and rocks, enjoying the native fauna and flora. This evening enjoy a Captain’s farewell dinner. [B,L,D]

Day 4 Puerto Natales

Arrive at approximately 8.00am at the Skorpios Terminal in Puerto Natales where you disembark your cruise. [B]

Clients arriving into Puerto Natales on Monday or Thursday can purchase one pre-night on board the ship (if arriving on Monday) or at Remota Hotel (or similar) or cabin on ship, which includes: 

  • Dinner on arrival night
  • 1 night's accommodation (Monday passengers will stay on board the ship, Thursday passengers will stay at Remota Hotel or similar)
  • Full day tour to Torres del Paine National Park including picnic lunch and entrance fees
  • Buffet breakfast
