Itinerary

Day 1. Uyuni

Welcome to Bolivia and the town of Uyuni, gateway to the incredible Salt Lakes. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Visit the train cemetery and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. [L,D]

Day 2. Uyuni - San Pedro de Quemez

Today’s adventure includes a visit to Incahuasi Island and Colchani, a tiny one-street town situated on the edge of the Thunupa Salt Flat. Later you visit the Coquesa Mummies at the foot of the Thunupa volcano, which have been preserved due to the high altitude and low humidity of this area. [B,L,D]

Day 3. San Pedro de Quemez - Ojo de Perdiz

Continue through the desert today, stopping to enjoy many of the different saltwater lagoons. Look out for the flamingos that are abundant here. [B,L,D]

Day 4. Ojo de Perdiz - San Pedro de Atacama

Enjoy a 4WD jeep ride, experiencing some truly diverse scenery including the Siloli Desert, the Laguna Colorada, the water springs of Polque and the geysers of Sol de Manana, where you’ll be able to soak in the steam pools. Visit the Green Lagoon and the Desert Ladies Valley this afternoon. [B,L]

Day 5. San Pedro de Atacama

Enjoy a day at leisure in the desert capital. [B]

Day 6. San Pedro de Atacama - Calama

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. [B]
