Special/Festival Tour Highlights

Day of the Dead

This festival is a colourful celebration where the Mexican people remember and honour their deceased loved ones. It is believed that during this festival, the border between the spirit world and real world dissolves and the deceased return to feast, drink and dance with the living. You’ll watch the parades and experience the unique graveyard celebrations.

Kandy Festival

Also known as the ‘Festival of the Tooth’, the Sri Lankian festival honours the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha. Every night of this festival you will experience magnificent elephant parades, Kandyan performers with bright torches, musicians, colourful costumes and more.

Kanto Matsuri Festival

The Kanto Festival, or the Pole Lantern Festival, is a famous Japanese festival based in Akita. The festival is held to protect the people from evil spirits during the harvest season. Here, you will witness 10,000 pole lanterns in the night sky and spectacular performances.
