As at 13 March 2020

Bunnik Tours has been carefully evaluating the unfolding situation around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We take the safety and wellbeing of our travellers very seriously and over the last few weeks have been in contact with those due to depart across February and March 2020 to affected areas. This has been made directly where travellers have booked with Bunnik Tours themselves, or via their travel agent.

The situation is changing on a daily basis, including government responses. Our decisions about tours, including necessary adjustments and cancellations, have been made based on information provided through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Smartraveller website, the World Health Organisation, and our local offices and authorities.

This afternoon, the Australian government has made a major announcement recommending Australians reconsider non-essential international travel. To our loyal travellers, this is an unprecedented event for the Australian travel industry. We want to assure you that our teams are working diligently to respond to your concerns and queries as soon as possible. We will continue to work to keep you updated in a timely fashion as we know these are difficult times for so many. Due to the large number of travellers affected we will be contacting travellers on a priority basis, starting with departures from March and April 2020.  We thank you for your kindness and patience. Your health, safety and wellbeing remains, as always, of utmost importance to us.

Our COVID-19 Information page is regularly updated as information changes. As of today 13 March 2020, if you are travelling with us on departures up to 15 April 2020 we are making it easier for you to defer your travel plans. To talk about this further please contact us on 1800 286 645, [email protected] or speak with your local travel agent.
