Bunnik Tours has a small number of optional excursions that may be available to you on your small group tour. These are based on special-interest activities that don't always appeal to everyone, meaning they're truly optional. Find out more about these optional excursions below and contact our travel consultants to find out if they're available to you on your tour.

Optional excursions available on tours to Peru

Machu Picchu 2nd visit - half day - $84pp US
Your tour already includes one visit to Machu Picchu; however you may wish to take a second visit to explore this phenomenon further. Please note that the 2nd visit includes entry and transportation only (guide not included).

Machu Picchu 2nd visit & Huayna Picchu - half day - $102pp US
Your tour already includes one visit to Machu Picchu; however you may wish to take a second visit to explore this phenomenon further and incorporate a climb up to Huayna Picchu (considered to provide the best view over Machu Picchu). Please note this includes entry into Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu and transportation only (guide not included).

Please note: Huayna Picchu has a limited number of tickets available each day, with two times available to visit – 7.00am and 10.00am. There is a restriction of only 200 visitors per time slot. These usually sell out well in advance and it is unlikely it will be possible to arrange entry upon arrival into Aguas Calientes. To avoid disappointment, we suggest you purchase your entrance ticket online in advance to secure entry. However, it is important to note that this option is non-refundable even if entry is cancelled due to bad weather. If possible, we recommend booking the earlier time slot, visiting Huayna Picchu first prior to touring the Inca site. The online option will only secure your ticket to Huayna Picchu and entrance to Machu Picchu; the return bus from Aguas Calientes will be in addition and will need to be arranged locally. http://www.machupicchu.gob.pe
