Some things to note

Some things to note icon

Please note:

  • On day 5 we will be travelling to Sapa. You may be required to pack an overnight bag on day 4, for the following two nights. This is due to the accessibility of larger coaches in the Sapa region and the lack of capacity to carry full-sized luggage. Your guide will advise you accordingly during your sightseeing on day 4. Your main luggage will be kept in storage at your hotel in Hanoi where you will collect on your return stay. We do, however, recommend keeping your valuables on you during your stay in Sapa.
  • On day 6 there will be a good level of walking today, so we recommend wearing some good walking shoes.
  • On day 7 we suggest packing an overnight bag for the Halong Bay cruise the following day. The remainder of your luggage can be stored securely in our vehicle. However, you can take all your belongings if you prefer.
  • On day 9 the airline ticket for the flight between Hanoi and Hue has been issued locally by our operator.
  • If you're looking to get some clothing made in Hoi An, have a think before you leave and cut out pictures from magazines and catalogues of clothes you like. If you have a piece of clothing that you love, take it with you and the tailors can duplicate the item for you in whatever fabric takes your fancy!
  • On day 14 the airline ticket for the flight between Hoi An and Saigon has been issued locally by our operator.
  • On day 14 if you’re looking for somewhere to try local dishes, head to Pho 2000 Restaurant, located near the Ben Thanh Market and above the main intersection—it's the perfect place to escape from the fast pace outside!
  • On day 19 the airline ticket for the flight between Saigon and Siem Reap has been issued locally by our operator.
  • On day 22 the airline ticket for the flight between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh has been issued locally by our operator.
  • On day 24 the airline ticket for the flight between Phnom Penh and Vientiane has been issued locally by our operator.
  • On day 29 remember to pack your swimwear in your day bag for the visit to Kuang Si Waterfalls on day 30.
