Some things to note

Some things to note icon

Please note:

  • Due to limitations on the Nile dahabiya vessel, the bedding configuration of your cruise cabin cannot be guaranteed. Furthermore, our accommodation in Cairo and our dahabiya vessel are both 'dry' - meaning that alcohol is not served. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol into the hotel and on board the cruise.
  • Entry into the Mummy Room is not included and will cost approximately 180EGP per person, which can be purchased upon entry.
  • Note on Esna Lock and Itinerary Schedule: Please note that due to the high volume of river traffic all cruise itineraries are subject to change without notice. The order and timing of sightseeing may therefore change however all inclusions will remain the same. Similarly travel through the Esna Lock is subject to river traffic and local conditions which means we may pass through the lock during the night or have an extended wait prior to entering the lock.
  • Due to local laws and regulations, the only mode of transport available to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu is by horse and carriage. You are welcome to explore Edfu independently or stay on board the cruise to enjoy the ship’s facilities if you would prefer.
  • Ramadan is observed from 2 April to 1 May 2022.
