Marion Bunnik created her first tour back in 2003.
Now over 20 years later, the tour program has expanded to include more than 80 itineraries to some of the world’s most exciting and exotic destinations – including Africa, Egypt & Middle East, Europe, Asia, Australia, South & Central America and plenty more.
As well as expanding the tour program, our in-house Travel Specialist team has grown too and today numbers over 20, with more than 25 additional experts company wide (including 10 different nationalities). Having such a diverse background and a natural passion for travel means there are not many places in the world where one of our team members hasn't spent time. Read on to meet the team!
The founder of Bunnik Tours travel flows in Marion’s blood, as she is rarely home for more than 2 months consecutively as she explores the world. Marion has been to over 80 countries and all 7 continents… space travel might be on the cards as she looks for new destinations to travel to.
She has recently travelled to Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Holland, America, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Argentina and India.
Marion has a great love for culture and learning languages, as she can speak French, Dutch, German, Spanish and even a bit of Indonesian and English (or Double Dutch). Marion is happily married to Frank, her high school sweetheart, and has 3 children and 7 grand children to keep her occupied.
Astrology and alternative medicines are Marion’s hobbies as well as walking on the beach and over eating (which seems to be a Bunnik thing!).
Sacha started his career in the travel industry with Singapore Airlines, before moving to the family business in 1996. Sacha has now visited more than 100 countries and all 7 continents, beating the other Bunniks to this milestone!
Being a real sports nut, Sacha follows both Adelaide United and the mighty Adelaide Crows religiously, and is a bit of a gym junkie. Despite that, his only sporting glory has been winning the company's foosball world cup twice over the last few years. He is also a keen follower of reality TV, including Amazing Race and Survivor.
He is married to his high school sweetheart, Inger, and has three beautiful daughters, Bailey, Amie and Summer. Sacha and Inger recently started a YouTube channel called The Part-Time Tourists, exploring and reviewing some of the world's best destinations - subscribe to see what they get up to next!
It's not a family competition unless all are competing! Dennis, like his mother and brother, is an avid traveller, he has been to over 85 countries with many more on his list to visit. He is the chairman of the Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO), a position he has held since 2015.
As a side hobby, Dennis has combined his love for flying, photography and video, and created his own flight review YouTube channel, dennisbunnik travels. Much to his surprise this has gotten a bit out of hand with over 15 million views and over 110,000 subscribers.
Dennis is married to Julie and has two teenage sons.
