I recently travelled to Sri Lanka with Bunnik Tours and it truly exceeded expectations, not just as a holiday but as a memorable family experience.
One of the things I loved most was the flexibility. We were able to take a well-planned small group itinerary (with the help of patient Wendy) and tailor it to suit our own needs, travelling as a family of four. This allowed us to pause the itinerary to spend a few extra days with family, and then seamlessly rejoin the Bunnik schedule. That level of flexibility is rare and made the experience feel both structured and personalised.

Our family of four adults travelled to Sri Lanka
Our family of four adults travelled to Sri Lanka in April on a customised private tour organised by Wendy and the team at Bunnik Private Touring, and it was truly one of the best holidays we've ever had. Wendy took the time to understand exactly what a family with adult children wanted and created an itinerary that perfectly balanced culture, wildlife, food, adventure and relaxation. We even took a break during the tour to stay with family at a retreat in Talalla, and Bunnik seamlessly arranged for our driver-guide to drop us off and then recommence our tour several days later.
The attention to detail was exceptional, from organising a birthday surprise for our daughter to helping arrange a cooking class in Ella and answering every question along the way. Everything ran smoothly, and the memories we made as a family, from the blue train through the hill country to the safaris and beautiful coastal towns, will stay with us forever. As someone who works in the tourism industry, I have high expectations, and Bunnik exceeded every one of them. Thank you Wendy and the entire team for an unforgettable experience.
