Travelling to a local Andean community in Ecuador, we’ll enjoy an enriching experience through a Pachamanka ceremony. Traditionally reserved for special occasions, this Inca ritual involves preparing a meal of tasty vegetables and delectable meat, cooked in the Earth covered by hot lava stones. This is definitely not your average lunch!

10. Swahili cooking class in Kenya

While ‘safari’ is the first thing to pop into people’s mind when they think of Kenya, Kenyan food is equally important to the country’s unique culture. We’ll give the Kenyan cuisine a go during a local Swahili cooking class, first exploring the fresh in-house herb and vegetable garden at the Sarova Mara Game Camp located within the famed Maasai Mara.

A sign of true decadence, oysters are considered one of the most luxurious foods in the world. What could be better than indulging in fresh oysters, and other delicious snacks, while on a scenic cruise around Walvis Bay searching for native dolphins, seals and pelicans? The answer: not much!
