Nile River

Famously recognised as one of the longest rivers in the world, the Nile River is a must-see highlight. Replete with stunning desert landscapes and a rich history, the Nile flows through the northern limits of Lake Nasser in Aswan to the north of Cairo. Enjoy a taste of luxury as you cruise to the riverside Temple of Kom Ombol, see the Temple of Horus at Edfu, enjoy a traditional Galabeya party on board and then sail onto Luxor – home to the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.

Great Pyramid of Giza & the Sphinx

Over 4,500 years old, the Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It’s believed that this iconic structure took over 20 years and 100,000 workers to complete. Southeast of the pyramids, one of Egypt’s most famous landmarks can be spotted - The Great Sphinx. This monolith features the head of a human and the body of a lion. Believed to symbolise strength, power and wisdom, the Great Sphinx’s true meaning, age and original builder still remains a mystery.

Petra

Although much has been written about Petra, nothing really prepares you for this amazing place. It must be seen to be believed. It is a vast, unique city, carved directly from the sheer rock face of red sandstone, and was an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India and Southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Rome, and Greece. The Nabateans constructed the beautiful city as their capital around 100BC, and it remained unknown to the western world until around 1812. This ancient rose-coloured city is one of the Middle East’s greatest historical and architectural treasures and a must-see sight in Jordan.
