Some things to note

Some things to note icon

Please note:

  • Due to the popularity of La Sagrada Familia it is becoming extremely difficult to guarantee entry inside. If by chance the tickets cannot be secured, we will include an inside visit to Casa Batlló, the famous house remodelled by Antoni Gaudi. We will still visit La Sagrada Familia, with a full guided tour outside the structure. Status of the entrance will not be know until the start of our departure and will be advised locally by our Tour Director.
  • Alhambra Palace has introduced new regulations to their booking system, which in turn has created difficulties in securing entrance to the grounds. The type of entrance into Alhambra Palace on day 18 varies and full access is not guaranteed. If we are unable to secure entrance to the site at all, we will substitute this with another inclusion.
  • On day 19 you will travel via ferry from Spain to Morocco. Any sharp objects are strictly prohibited on-board and are subject to confiscation upon boarding.
  • You should try to stay hydrated in Morocco’s dry climate. Water and fruit juice are everywhere and are perhaps the best things to drink. Freshly squeezed orange juice is a great way to start the day and nowhere is it better than in Morocco.
  • Due to the narrow streets of Chefchaouen the hotel we stay it is not reachable by coach, so we will need to walk approximately 20 minutes to get there. Your guide will arrange to transport your luggage there separately so there is no need for you to carry it. The hotel we use is basic but located right in the heart of the old city, making it a perfect location to self-explore and immerse yourself in this unique place.
  • On day 23 we have a long day of travel ahead of us as we make our way from Fez to Marrakesh. As such you may like to pack some drinks and snacks to enjoy on the coach.
  • Ramadan is observed in Morocco from 02 April to 01 May 2022. This will impact the 19 March and 09 April departures.

 Optional Excursions:

  • All optional tours are based on a minimum of 10 participants (unless otherwise stated) and are subject to availability. The length of tours advised is an approximate only. Tours can be booked on tour directly with your Tour Director or guide. We recommend arranging the booking at the beginning of the tour to avoid disappointment. Please note some optional tours may also be available on multiple or alternate days. Prices are a guide only and are subject to change without prior notice. Payment by cash is preferred as there are no guarantees that credit card facilities will be available. Please check with your Tour Director or guide locally for information relating to this. Credit card fees and exchange rates are at the discretion of your bank.
