Top End Discovery – 10 days

Explore the Top End in depth on this small group tour with Bunnik Tours. Departing from tropical Darwin we will bear witness to World Heritage-listed Aboriginal Rock Art throughout Kakadu.

Our journey will see us trekking the scenic bushlands teeming with natural wonders, from amazing lookouts and towering waterfalls, to billabongs perfect for swimming, and all while spotting the incredible wildlife that call Australia home.

  • Together with an Aboriginal guide, we’ll cruise the East Alligator River, gaining a unique insight into the river’s cultural significance, abundant food chain, and bush survival skills. We’ll also disembark on the Arnhem Land side of the river for a hunting demonstration.
  • Cruise the breathtaking three gorges of Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge), as we learn from expert guides the history and meaning behind the ancient Aboriginal Rock Art, dating back 8-10 thousand years. Take the opportunity to swim, an experience we will never forget!
  • Enjoy a short hike to the towering Tolmer Falls, before continuing to view the pristine waters of the iconic Karrimurra (Florence Falls). Our final stop in Litchfield is the Buley Rockhole, a hidden gem where we’ll have the opportunity to swim in the gentle cascading waters.
